General goals of the Tourism Academy are to accomplish supreme educational activity corresponding to the international standards, to support promotion of the educational level in the country in limits of its educational activity and by the realization of the educational programs to prepare the competitive competent specialists corresponding to the modern requests on the internal and foreign labour market. To propose to the interested persons the high education of the perfect quality, to create for the students the environment corresponding with their interests and facilities for acceptance of the higher education. To elaborate and propose to the students the processed educational program by foreseeing the interests and preferences, by accomplishment of which the personal potential will be realized, to create the environment for high educational institutions’ students and academic staff mobility; to carry out integration of the academy of tourism with the world educational and scientific space.

In order to achieve the aforesaid goals the academy of tourism: 

a) Prepares students for the professional activity, which requires usage of the educational knowledge and scientific methods.

b) Takes care as well as of academic so administrative e personal professional development;

c) Foresees necessities for socially unprotected and invalid students and creates for them privileged conditions for education.

d) In limits of its competence supports the development of sport and art, realization of the students’ personal potential and the development creative properties’

e) Collaborates with the other high education and scientific research organizations in Georgia.

f) Supports spread of modern knowledge and technologies as well as in students so in the staff of the Tourism Academy.

g) Provides high educational system obviousness and clarity of the process.

h) Creates every condition for students’ study and teaching academic freedom.

i) Provides with participation of the academic personal and students in taking of the decisions and control of their accomplishment process.

j) Provides with religion and political neutrality while accomplishment of the educational process.
